Membership Committee

The CGNA Membership Committee is responsible for growing CGNA's membership, maintaining the membership base, and managing all member records.  This committee is led by the Membership Coordinator who is responsible for all membership activities including communication with our Block Captains and production of the Neighborhood directory.

Membership Drive

The annual CGNA membership drive begins in September and runs through December 15th.  The membership year runs from January 1 through December 31. Although membership in CGNA is optional, we are requesting that ALL households become members. Look for you annual membership form to arrive in your mailbox by October 15.

Although costs continue to rise, the membership fee will remain $20 for the membership year.  If you are not already a member of CGNA, please take a moment to join by completing  the Membership Form and  and sending it along with you dues.

By renewing your membership, you play a very important role in the many activities and responsibilities of our Association:

 Neighborhood Upkeep

  • The landscaping upkeep to the entrances at PD and Country Grove and at PD and Tanglewood.
  • The upkeep of the plantings in the traffic islands along our section of East Pass.
  • We will be adding more traffic islands with plantings along Country Grove next summer.

 Social Activities

  • The Monster Bash in October
  • The Hibernation Celebration (open to members and non-members alike.)
  • The Red, Bike, and Blue Parade ushers in the Fourth of July.
  • Our Social Committee is making plans for a neighborhood block party this summer and is looking for more ways for us to get together and celebrate our neighborhood.

Membership

  • Membership presents our new neighbors with a small welcome gift and information to assist in their transition to a new neighborhood.
  • Families welcoming a new baby are presented a small gift on behalf of our Association.
  • Every member household receives a member directory each year.

Neighborhood Communication

  • Members receive email reminders of upcoming events and activities of our Association.
  • Country Grove continues to be a desirable place to live. We have relatively few incidents here, and if we do, our members are notified via email so that we can be aware for ourselves and for our neighbors.
  • Our Association provides our neighborhood with a printed newsletter to keep us all up-to-date on the happenings in our neighborhood.

These are just some of the highlights and benefits of being a member of the Country Grove Neighborhood Association. The Board strives to serve our members well and to be good stewards of our membership dollars.

Directory

The latest Neighborhood directory will be compiled soon after the December 15th membership deadline. Remember, only active members will be included in, and receive a directory. Our directory serves as a great resource and includes a list of CG residents that provide services such as baby sitting, pet care, shoveling, mowing and more.

If you have any questions regarding CGNA membership,  please contact the Membership Coordinator.
